Since I'm bored and I have nothing else to do, I picked up my uncle's magazine and started reading it. I stumbled upon an article about Pope Benedict XVI and I started laughing, I was laughing not because of his beliefs but I was laughing simply because of him. I mean, how the hell did this guy became a Pope? The last time I saw him, he was choking Luke Skywalker in Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi... or was it?

But seriously, I'm beginning to get creeped out with this guy. I mean, he's one of the most powerful leaders in the world, you diss this guy and you're going to have 30 million crusaders wanting to burn your ass into oblivion the next day. No really, imagine if he's really evil.. and he's only using his position as a front to his really evil plans of taking over the world.. that's like what the fuck?



I, POPELATINE BENEDICT WILL TAKE OVER THE WORLD AND NOT EVEN THE DEVIL CAN STOP ME! BUWAHAHAHA, wait.. I am the devil... oh well


That's just plain scary.. no, he's scary. I've researched about this guy and I found out that he has been enrolled in the Hitler Youth. So that means... he has a background in Nazism. Great just fucking great. I can only imagine this...

Hoops.blink.ph Photo Contest

In celebration of our one year of basketball blogging and in cooperation with this new blog, we are thrilled to announce another contest. A photo contest.

Contest name is cheaply called - Shoot That Court!

Just send us a digital photo of a Philippine basketball court, anywhere. When I say anywhere, I mean anywhere. From gyms, to inner street court, rural barrio court, jail court, yard court, etc. Wherever. Claro?

We are nowhere near photo experts but suggestion is, a little artistry is required. Preferred is, people are actually playing on court. Action man, action.

Quick Rules:

1. Digital copy. JPG - JPEGS only. Not more than 1MB in size.

2. You can submit as many as you want. And that, YOU OWN the photo/s.

3. Fee? There’s no effing fee to join. Even your stock photo, you can send ‘em.

4. Chosen submissions will be posted here at Hoops or here. (If you happen to be eliminated from the top ten, and you wish to take down your photo, give us a bump, we’ll wipe away your photo and your tears.)

5. Top three winners get prizes. First prize winner gets to receive the UBER-COOL Washington Wizards authentic NBA Bag. This is so cool, even Gilbert Arenas has one.

Top 10 entries will be selected in-house. Top ten photos will be lined-up and posted and will be judged 50% by our ACTIVE bloggers. And another 50% vote weight coming from our hoops polls. It will be polled at the right side bar using our polls plugin.
