Saturday night is Battle Gear night for me. That means, I wouldn't let a saturday pass without dropping by megamall after attending Jzone to play the most addicting racing game I've ever encountered in my life.
Since I've been playing the game for months now, I can say that I am one of those elite players. I'm the one who takes joy at looking my opponent before crossing the finish line, sipping on Mcdo's bubblegum float with a smile that shouts better luck next time dude. Actually, I call that my signature move. Like Red Auerbach's Cigar or Al Francis Chua's hairband.
Earlier, after Jzone, I immediately rushed to megamall to play Battle Gear. After all, It's saturday. That means it's another ass whooping night for me. I've got my "bring it on" smile while playing the game and after a minute or two, the first challenger came.
The guy told me to pick a not so hard track because he's really not that good when it comes to racing games. So being a good sportsman myself, I granted his request. And eventually, before the race was over, I was sipping on my favorite bubblegame float while looking at him with a smile that screams I just opened another can of whoop ass for you bro. Better luck next time.
Right after that, another challenger came. This time it was a girl. And I was like "You don't know what you're getting into dear" and she was like "Oh yeah? Let's see what you've got".
So there, being a gentleman, I let her choose the race track. And to my surprise, she picked the second to the last track, my favorite track. Oh well, my float is still half full. I'd still have something to drink before the race was over.
The first two laps was a walk in the park for me, I was dropping it like it's hot, drifting it like yellowcard and arrogantly waiting for that final stretch to sip on my float and look at her with the better luck next time smile.
But to my surprise, she was closing in on me but I was like "this race is almost over, I can finish this track with my eyes closed so before the final turn, I picked up my float, arrogantly looked at her and before I came to my senses that the freaking race is not over yet. Oh Shit!! Holy Cow! I miscalculated the last turn and ran wide on it, I tried to close it out but the car was running too fast and eventually I spinned around like Kylie Minogue. And then voila, I saw her car right ahead of me, finished the race first and ended my undefeated streak in Battle Gear.
The moral of the story? There's no moral in this story you fucktard!
