It's a matter of life and death... but who cares? I'm still alive. Haha

I woke up at 8 earlier. Just another day, I guess. Another boring day in school. Another one of them, "What the hell's the point of this anyway?" I'm capable of getting good grades, I'm capable of making friends and I'm capable of making other people jealous at my uncanny talents. But, like any other human being I am not satisfied. I am not contented. I've always wanted more. And for some reason I've been selfish. But that's not the topic of my entry today.

After leaving my house for school, who would've ever expected that it could've been my last? Yes folks, On my way to UST earlier the jeepney that I was riding crashed. Yes, you've heard it right. crashed. I never saw it coming, but so was the driver. I really don't know what happened but all I know is that my back hurts, my shoulder hurts and I just saw the girl sitting beside me bleeding.

I didn't know what to do, so I idly stood up, got out from the jeep and looked for another jeep to ride like nothing happened. It was just after I got home that I realized that with the collision of the Jeep and the L3 earlier, half of us could've died. Who knows? I hope not but, with that kind of collision, who knows what could've happened to the guys sitting in front? Well, let's just hope for the best.

Well, that's the twist I was looking for. Thank God that nothing happened to me, and I hope that nothing serious happened to all those other guys in the jeep too. I guess this one's a wake up call to me, for days I've been taking life for granted, and the result? God almost took it away from me. Lesson learned. Never take anyone or anything for granted.
