*Bump

Just to update my blog.

After 2 weeks of looking for potential players, The Coaching staff of the Quezon City Basketball Team has finally decided on who'll make the pool. Thank God I'm one of them. 15 players we're picked out of 36(?) players who tried out for the team. Believe me, it wasn't easy to get it. Why? A) They're all on their peak condition, considering that they're still playing for their respective schools. B) I'm about 20 pounds overweight when I first started training C)I have no wind or whatsoever left on my body.

Oh well, thanks to my experience in playing, above average lateral movement and *ehem* reliable outside shooting, I got in. Now my next target is how I'll get my old form back, you know, back in the days when my weight range was from 155 to 160. But I'm getting there, give me two more weeks.. and with the way our condition Coach is doing his duties.. I know I'll get back my old form. Which brings me to this topic..

Last night's training was hell. 20 minute Jog-Lateral-Back Pedal drill to warm as up, some ball drills, a gazillion of suicide sprints, board workout, full court sprints, lateral movement drills again, scrimmage and then the ab workout. Oh well, the next training session is tomorrow, 5:30 am. And here I am, I can't even sleep.

After tomorrow's practice session, I'd go home to rest for awhile then off to TTNL I go! GO TTNL!
