The month of April is fight month

Alright, another sports article from me but guess what? this is not about basketball. Oh yes, you've heard it right kids, this is not about basketball.

This is about another sport that's very close to my heart. Combat sports. This includes boxing, mixed martial arts, wrestling and all those other sports that includes headlocks, arm bars, kicking and punching.

The reason why I wrote this article is because I've noticed that there are lots of big combat events that's happening this month. That includes the recently concluded PRIDE 34 - Kamikaze and UFC 69 - Shootout and of course The much awaited Pacquiao-Solis fight tomorrow and UFC 70 - Nations Collide which will take place next week.

Pride 34 was ecstatic and The shootout didnt disappoint as well. That event showcased two of the biggest upsets in UFC history ever, with Matt Serra dethroning George "Rush" St.Pierre in the welterweight division and Josh Koscheck ending Diego "The nightmare" Sanchez' undefeated streak.

Another event Im looking forward to is the Fuckman-Solis fight that will take place tomorrow, almost everyone's saying that Fuckman is letting his guard down and taking this fight lightly but hell Im still rooting for him. I think he's too much for the young Solis who I think is still not in the caliber of the Erik Morales' and Marco Barrera's of the world. And one more thing, I've heard that Jorge Arce will fight in the undercard of this match.

The UFC 70 event looks promising too. The card includes big matches like Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic vs Gabriel Gonzaga, Micheal "The Count" Bisping vs Elvis "Rock and Rumble" Sinosic and of course former heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski vs Fabricio Werdum.

So that's it fight fans, expect two more explosive events before the much awaited Liddell-Jackson fight next month. :D
